Me too girl! My license said something like 224 but actually it was 298 because I renewed them over the enternet the last ime I had them made. I was sooo happy to say "I need to change my weight " when asked if thre were any changes that needed to be made. The lady said "You have lost a lot of weight" I thought "you dont know the half of it honey..."LOL!!!!

I have been walking around with drivers licenses that stated 350 pounds with a photo to boot!  I finally got to renew mine last month and it was an awesome feeling when I told the lady that I had to have a new photo as well as change the weight to show 169 pounds!  She looked at the old licenses and looked at me - I could tell she was very confused so I explained that I had gastric bypass surgery two years ago!  That was one time I was actually glad to get my picture made... lol

Dr. Whitehead is no longer going to be doing the gastric bypass effective immediately.  This is a big disappointment as he is the only one performing this procedure in Hattiesburg.  He is a wonderful surgeon as well as a wonderful person.

He plans to retire within the next year and decided to discontinue the gastric bypass as it would not be fair to his patients for him not to be there a full two years after their surgery for their followup care.

As of right now, none of the surgeons already in the practice are willing or interested in taking on this procedure.  So, Janet will be doing some traveling next month in an effort to recruit a surgeon to Hattiesburg to join their practice.  I am hoping she finds someone.

Support group will continue on as it is now.  They are not ending that.  So, anyone interested is still welcome to join for our group every month on the second Monday at 6:30 pm in the assembly hall at Pine Grove.

Wow, I am so jealous. LOL! I whipped mine out at the bank today and just happened to glance at it to see what my weight was. OMG! I haven't weighed that in 14 years. It's off by 100 pounds. LOL!

I had my license renewed in August. For the first time EVER I actaully weigh what I told them. I hope in 4 years it is even lower and I will tell the truth then as well (I have lied about it for way too long..lol). Felt good to tell her what I actually weigh for change..lol. I use to be afraid she would whip out the scales and say "Let's just see about that"...lol. If she had done that this time I would have said "Bring 'em on sister"!!! Hope you are having a good day.

So what do you do when you actually weigh what your driver's license says? Do you lie the next time you get one and go even lower?

The only nausea I had was the 2 hours post-op. And I had the opposite problem with my stools. But it was because I wasn't eating enough fiber. I would call the doctor's office. But there is also a stomach bug going around. But I would at least see what your doctor says.
